With all the expenses of a new build, I simply couldn&#8217;t justify this on top so it was time to get creative with this hexagon vertical garden hack!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Out shopping at Kmart one day, I spotted a black wire hexagon wall hanging\/shelf and that&#8217;s when I got the idea to combine a cluster of these into a beehive shape. This tutorial is so easy, it hardly needs instructions but just to be thorough, here they are.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Related article: <a href=\"https:\/\/stylecurator.com.au\/growing-devils-ivy\/\">Growing Devil\u2019s Ivy<\/a><br>Related article: <a href=\"https:\/\/stylecurator.com.au\/ginas-home-outdoor-living-room-reveal\/\">Gina\u2019s home: Outdoor living room reveal<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Items you will need:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>6 x Kmart black &#8216;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.kmart.com.au\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Metal wire pot holders<\/a>&#8216;<\/li><li>6 x Kmart &#8216;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.kmart.com.au\">Geo pot<\/a>&#8216; black<\/li><li>Electric drill<\/li><li>Concrete screws<\/li><li>Plastic coated wire<\/li><li>Pliers<\/li><li>Soil and plants<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Steps:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>1. <\/strong>Join the wire pot holders together in your preferred design using the plastic coated wire and pliers. Voila, you&#8217;re done!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For now, I&#8217;ve just planted the same hardy succulent in all the geo planters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The goal is to find larger, possibly rectangular pots, that can fit along the full base of each wire shelf so I can fill the piece with loads more plants.
